Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
CBT is an evidenced based therapy used for a range of common mental health difficulties. This includes depression, low mood, stress, low self esteem and anxiety (including post traumatic stress).
Using CBT you work with your therapist to identify problematic negative thoughts and patterns of behaving which influence and maintain difficult emotions. Your therapist will support you to apply different techniques to try to modify difficult thinking patterns and behaviours.
CBT is recognised by the National Institute for Clinical Excellent (NICE).
